One-to-One Physiotherapy Sessions
You’ll usually use this time with our experts to work on specific aspects of your breathing, balance, strength, co-ordination, and flexibility. Making improvements in these areas can help reduce the risk of falls and improve your motor skills, stamina, and range of movement.
Your physiotherapist can also help with other aspects of your wellbeing including:
- Providing acupuncture
- Mobility equipment assessments and referrals
- Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) if you have foot drop
- Kinesio-taping to support and stabilise your muscles and joints and reduce pain
- Advice on a range of issues relating to managing your condition
“I come into the Centre with problems, and I go away with solutions. The staff are angels.”
Avril, lives with Fibromyalgia
