Our volunteers are amazing. They support our staff team in delivering the therapies and services our clients rely on to stay well. Some are trustees, providing their professional skills to help lead and develop the charity.

People volunteer with us for a variety of reasons. Some people have a neurological condition themselves or know someone who does. Others have seen high profile campaigners in the media and want to help. And others, just want to volunteer for a worthwhile charity in their local community. What they all have in common is their generosity in giving their time to help us and that’s just as valuable to us as a financial contribution.

Volunteering with us is a hugely rewarding experience. We’re a small, friendly team who make a real difference to the wellbeing of people living with neurological conditions and their families. We’d love you to be a part of that and we’ll provide you with full training and support for the role you take on. Hear why they volunteer, and what they get out of it, by listening to Rhona’s story.

“I’ve been volunteering at the Centre for 10 years. I love it. I’m part of the team and seeing the difference that we do makes to people – I can’t even explain how rewarding that is.”

Being part of our Centre team is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and use existing ones to help others.

In the Centre, our volunteers help us with:

• running the oxygen chamber
• keeping the physio and rehabilitation areas running smoothly
• a variety of admin tasks

If you’d like to help us in the Centre in any way, please contact us.

Become a Trustee

Our Trustees are volunteers who are responsible for the strategic direction of our charity and for overseeing the day to day running of the Centre by the CEO and a small team of staff. They play an integral role in helping us achieve our vision while providing guidance, support, and constructive challenge.

If you have professional skills and experience which could benefit our charity and are interested in becoming a Trustee then please contact us for an informal chat. Contact Us.
